The online platform Outdoor Asian is building Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community in the outdoors. Through in person events and online gatherings, Outdoor Asian promotes diversity outdoors and encourages API to take up space in nature. They currently have six chapters in the US with people all over the world joining the community online. They share API stories of triumphs and challenges to uplift the community.

We love that Outdoor Asian is building a community of nature loving API. Their approach is inclusive, friendly, welcoming and centres Asian and Pacific Islanders voices in the outdoor movement. They have managed to build engaged chapters in five states that help connect people to the outdoors. We can’t wait to see what they do next!
