The Bad Activist Collective is an intersectional group of young change-makers who were inspired by Roxanne Gay’s Bad Feminist to create a community of bad activists. They normalise being an imperfect activist, making mistakes, learning, failing and growing. The international collective has a fresh take on advocacy, exploring ways of moving forward in the world as better activists for people and the planet.
Change-makers, artists and bad activists
We love how the Bad Activist Collective focuses on intersectional environmentalism as a way to dismantle systems of oppression. They are a truly collaborative community creating more awareness about what it means to be an activist.
